Spy Sweeper...
Does anyone here use Spy Sweeper? The program itself is GREAT I think, but their support SUCKS big time...Renewed my subscription and it took 2 weeks to get it updated and all the while I was getting threatening messages that my sub was gonna expire in so many days....Twice they gave me suggestions on fixing the problem, BOTH suggestions a WEEK apart...First suggestion DID NOT solve the problem, the second did...WHY would it take them 2 weeks to fix a minor glitch? GEEZ! I thought Symantec was bad?

I don't use commercial spyware removal products. Give Spybot Search and Destroy a try!

Thanks for the reply Danny.....
Do use AD AWARE on my laptop...Do you think Spy Bot is better? This Spy Sweeper program is VERY good, although it is a yearly fee program...Since I don't use the laptop as much, I try to use the freeware programs on it...Have you any experience with AVAST! antivirus? Am currently using that on the laptop and am considering using it for the desktop after my subscription expires...Haven't decided yet. I am happy with the Trend Micro I am using on the desktop...

Just use Ad-Aware
Ad-Aware works great and its free! Why would you need anything else! But if you really want more protection, The new Zone Alarm works great for spyware, virus, and firewall!

I Have posted on this topic earlier. stopzilla has been the best spyware detection and removal tool for me in the long run. If you search my previous posts I give a reason why I prefer stopzilla over spy sweeper and so on.
