I'm currently using 1and1.com as host for some of my websites. I've been working on writing my own forum software to challenge my self and to put it on my resume, and make a little money too
 . My problem is that 1and1.com won't let you use the MySQL database to run a chat system. Does anybody know of any inexpensive hosting companies that will? It would need php and MySQL support. |

Hello Flann,
How much space do you need and bandwidth? Also try posting your request under Hosting offers and request area of this forum. There are alot of great Hosts in this community, and this will give you some choices and advice.

There are so many web hosts that can offer that. Try going to tophosts.com for some recommendations.
