Thumbs up Tune your Firefox with Fire Tune

Hi,

Most of the internet users suffering with the speed of browsing for slow machine or the slow net connection. Usually you have to optimize Firefox manually, which can be time consuming and difficult for the novice user. FireTune helps you here - it includes all the performance optimizations. The only thing you must do is: make your selection. FireTune does the work for you. According to your specific computer speed and internet connection speed, FireTune will optimize several internal settings of Firefox for better performance. FireTune does NOT modify the Firefox executable, or any other Firefox binary file. Everything can be undone easily provided you saved your original profile configuration file with FireTune's profile backup feature before. Details on what exactly FireTune does can be found in the FireTune helpfile.

Fire Tune is free to download.
You can download it from the following link:

Enjoy surfing....

Just follow the steps listed below for positive results in firefox.

1.Type ?about:config? into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set ?network.http.pipelining? to ?true?

Set ?network.http.proxy.pipelining? to ?true?

Set ?network.http.pipelining.maxrequests? to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it ?nglayout.initialpaint.delay? and set its value to ?0″. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.
