partitioning for dual boot ...
hey,
im planning to format my harddrive and do clean a reinstall of windows but i want to dual boot XP and vista. ive formatted and reinstalled windows before so i know what im doing there but since i have no idea about how to partition drives and dual booting i have a few questions:
1. how do i know if my harddrive currently has any partitions? i have 2 drives in my PC but they show up as one in 'my computer', how do i know if either of them are partitioned? and if they are partitioned should i undo it before partitioning them again?
2. how do i partition a drive and how do i install each OS onto one? do i partition it after ive formatted but before i install anything?
3. once both OS's have been installed where do i install programs, games etc? do i install them onto the XP partition or the vista?
also, ive been advised that, due to me not having a full version of vista but one that you upgrade XP to, i should start off by installing one version of XP and upgrading that to vista, and then i should go ahead and try to install the second XP - does that affect how i should go about doing it?
thanks ...

You can use a number of things. The disk partitioning tool in Vista, Partition Magic in XP, or a linux live CD.
You cal also do all of this in the windows command line, but fdisk is a little hard to figure out.

don't try to install xp as a 2nd OS over vista
I would reformat drives clean them good
remove all but 1
format a 30gb part load xp to that
remove drive add another drive in position it will remain and run from
IE: 2nd sata channel
vista uses diff boot config system then xp they can get corrupted easily with a stop write from power failure
now find a 3rd party boot tool like acronis
load vista to another 40gb part
you will need to add both OS's to have control over the rest of your drive space
look up taking possession or ownership of drives

The real evils, indeed
The real evils, indeed, of wow gold Emma's situation were the power of having rather too much her own way, and a disposition to think a little wow gold too well of herself; these were the disadvantages which threatened alloy to her many enjoyments. The danger, however, was at wow power leveling present so unperceived, that they did not by any means rank as misfortunes with her. Sorrow came--a gentle sorrow--but not at all in the shape of any disagreeable consciousness.--Miss Taylor married. It was Miss Taylor's loss which first brought grief. It was on the wow powerleveling wedding-day of this beloved friend that Emma first sat in mournful thought of any continuance. The wedding over, and the bride-people gone, her father and herself were left to dine together, with no prospect of a third to cheer a long evening. Her father composed himself to sleep after dinner, as usual, and she had then only to sit and think of what she had lost.weiwei1978123
