Help lazy reviewers
If you want people to review your site, put a link. It's really irritating when somebody says: "Please review my site: mynewsite.com". If you want maximum feedback, take the extra 2.3 seconds required to put and arround the link, especially if it's not a www. or http:// address.
It might seem like just being lazy, but it does actaully require a surpising amount of effort to type in a url, making sure to get the spelling correct (woe betide I use copy and paste).
You would probably be surprised at the amount of times I (and other people) don't participate in a site review purely because there was no clickable link. Also, don't assume that the link in your sig will do, becasue it won't.
Sorry if that sounds like a rant, but it's for your own benifits.
Danny, I think this should maybe be made a sticky, or at least a more polite version of it should
Or, you could give me back my mod status and I can do it myself. (I know I said I wasn't fussed before, but I'm starting to miss the authoritah).

Stickied: You make some good points. Anyway, I'd like to see put some better information in their posts.
"Please review x0x0x0x0x00x.com. Bye." isn't good enough.
I like to help people who help us. If you post good quality articles, such as a well thought out post on your website, thats what you'll get in return.

I think it would be nice to have like a standard for posting reviews. Something like.
Name of the Site
Link to the site
Who it's for
What the site is about or for
Stuff like that.

Those are some good points. Perhaps a structure should be specified for review requests. If you want your site reviewed, then you should/must use those criteria. Perhaps the swankey new VB3 allows for post templates, which would make this easier.

Yeah, I know what you meant, and maybe we'll make a special announcement for it.

Put an active link there will be very helpful, since one click away is much more closer. Otherwise, he or she has to write a very attractive title or description there to make me do the copy and paste job.

lol, couldn't you just copy and paste it into the address bar? I understand what your saying though. Just couldn't pass up the chance to tease ya about your "does actaully require a surpising amount of effort to type in a url" :P
