Hey everybody,
We've added three news posting bots. Currently, they are...
W3Reports.com - Webmaster News service.
Please let me know if you would like a specific feed added!

Currently, these bots will grab/refresh the news at the top of each and every hour. Enjoy!

Its a possibiliy, but we want to be cafeful not to flood the forum with bot posts.

..Which would definitely happen with slashdot.
I would rather have /. than w3reports - as W3R has grown to be more of press releases, but I don't see the affiliation between W3Reports and DWC going away anytime soon for obvious reasons.
