Yeah, there are many good registrars out there. What problems are you having? Who is your registrar?
My current favorite is Namecheap.com, which is an eNom reseller. I've heard good things about GoDaddy, and WildWestDomains offers good reseller accounts.

I use Godaddy, because of the price and free domain forwarding.

All of my domains are from GoDaddy.com. While searching I found anoter registrar called aplus.net, they are having a sale right now for $5.95/year with a limit of 5 per customer. I have not used them, but I might go for this offer. I saw some good reviews on CNET for their hosting services.
This sale ends on November 15.

After reading that report from W3Reports, I guess I will not be going for thier current offer. Thanks for the heads up!

Why do you think they are the best? For hosting? Or for domains?
Buying domains with a webhost is not a good idea.

Namecheap, in my opinion, is the best.

Well I pay hostdepartment for there services such the ability to read php pages or asp or aspx etcc....... However, there is not perfrect webhost I own my own servers and domains. I have a couple, and as Danny said Hostdepartment does have lots of problems he is certainly right. But I just have to accept that.
Best Regards,
Curiousdan

Dan, I'm afraid I have to step in here. I think you are making false statements.
You've been telling people you own your own server equipment, but my dig of the registration data says otherwise.
In fact, a reverse whois search says your website is hosted on a server with over 600 other active websites. It also says the IP belongs to hostdepartment.
Can you elaborate?

I have to admit I am still using powerpipe. That is since the afternic.com days when I had to transfer domains a lot, and they make it so easy.
Otherwise I also recommend registerfly.com

also http://www.registerfly.com
When I change nameservers on domain names registered with them, it only takes about 15 minutes of downtime total and the new site on the new host is live!
