Hdd

You cannot add more space to your hard drive but you can

buy a larger one to replace the old one that has more memory or
you can buy another and itsall it so you have 2 hard drives

Sp2

Service Pack 2 (SP2) is the update for Windows XP, which fixs some security issues and other stuff

To increase your proccessor speed you will need to overclock it but if you do this you can destroy the proccessor which is very expensive to replace

1. What is Hyper-Threading? What is it for?
It makes the processor act like two; it allows two data streams to be processed at once.

2. How can I increase the processor speed?
You can't, unless you overclock it. You can of course replace the processor, but you might need a new motherboard too at that point.

3. What is 800 MHz FSB and 2MB L2 Cache?
FSB = Front Side Bus, Cache: Temporary data storage

4. What is Service Pack 2?
It's a Windows software update that has made significant security and usability upgrades.

5. What does DDR stand for? How can I get more? What is PC-3200?
DDR = Double Data Rate. PC-3200 is the type of RAM you have.

6. Can I put more memory space in my HDD or do I have to get another one to store more space?
You can't add to the hard drive, but you absolutely get an additional hard drive, or as mentioned, replace the current with a larger one. Hard drive space is not referred to as memory, as that implies RAM. It's instead referred to as storage space.

7. How do you even pronounce Vaio?
I always have said it: VAH-OH, but others say it VAY-OH.

I heard that if you use too much of your storage then your computer lags. But as you said, hard drive space does not refer to Ram. So my question is:Why does it lag if it has nothing to do with the RAM?

It usually wont. Generally when you install many programs, it clogs up the registry. Also, if your Windows partition gets over 95%, there can be problems with Virtual Memory.
